As you may or may not have already known, Yuck frontman Daniel Blumberg left the band back in April to “concentrate on releasing his own music“, and the remaining members were left to their own devices.
Those devices were to continue writing and recording new material as Yuck, with Max Bloom stepping up to the mic to do vocals. As you can hear on their new track “Rebirth”, which is taken from their new album that they’re still working on, much of the sound from their excellent debut album is still there, but Max’s vocals are a lot less distorted and rough.
